The big news is that we've made it to the Mediterranean. We arrived in Gibraltar a week ago. It is a big rock with monkeys on it. We went to the top of Gibraltar to see the monkeys. One of them grabbed my finger! From the top of the rock we could see Africa and Spain. One night we had a big thunderstorm and daddy had to tighten the ropes becuase the wind was so strong.
Yesterday we sailed to a place called Ceuta which is in Morocco in north Africa. People in Africa wear robes and have funny scarves on their heads.
There is a fantastic swimming pool near the marina with palm trees around it. We went for a swim and sat in the sun.
Tomorrow we're off to Fuengirola which is in Spain. Daddy said it should take about eight hours to sail there. We will probably be stopping at a place called Almerima for the winter.

To all of my friends, this is my story so far.
We're now in Spain. The weather is good here. There are lots of mountains and everything is very green. We've had lots of bbqs on the back of the boat. Daddy made burgers and we cooked some mackrel the some people gave us. I've had good fun playing on the beach. Some of the waves were very big and I went surfing on my board. I went fishing but didn't catch anything. I will keep on trying. It was my birthday this week and I got a DS with a racing car game and another called the "brain game". I really like my DS and I'm having lots of fun. My daddy keeps playing the "brain game" on it. I play the car game. I've met some other French and Spanish children. They can't speak english but we are learning how to speak to them. Tonight we are going to have a bbq with some friends and play boules on the beach. We might try and play a quiz as well. We are going to Portugal and I'm getting excited. I am going to have my birthday on the boat. I am going to be six and I'll have a cake. I am going to get a bouncy ball for my birthday and a fishing rod. I am going to get a card for my birthday.
